Dr Anthony Lo commenced general medical practice in the Sunshine Central Medical Clinic in 2000.
Dr Anthony Lo graduated from the University of Melbourne having been trained in the full range of Family Medicine including Medicine and Surgery, Paediatrics, Gynaecology, Sexual Health, Geriatrics and Palliative Care. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Ms Thu Thai
Registered Nurse, Credentialled Diabetes Educator
Thu Thai is a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. After graduation from Bachelor of Nursing – Division 1 at Victoria University of Technology, she did further studies and completed a Postgraduate Certificate of Diabetes Education at Deakin University.
Thu’s expertise is in the provision of diabetes self-management education for people with diabetes, as well as supports for patients’ family members.
Thu Thai provides the highest quality diabetes education and support services to individuals with diabetes including Type 1, Type 2, Gestational Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes. She carries out assessment, planning, clear documentation, delivery and evaluation of comprehensive education programs. She also integrates clinical care, self management education, skills training and disease specific information to motivate patients to:
- Understand diabetes and make informed lifestyle and treatment choices
- Incorporate physical activity into daily life
- Use their medicines effectively and safely
- Monitor and interpret their blood glucose patterns.
Currently, she is working with and supporting the Endocrinologists and General Practitioners in the West.
Thu speaks both English and Vietnamese.
